10 Top-tier Restaurants Offering Romantic Valentine’s Day Dinners

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and that means picking the perfect dining spot to celebrate with your special someone. And while it’s true that as long as you’re in love it doesn’t matter where you have dinner – even ordering delivery pizza at home can be romantic – there’s so many amazing restaurants in Bangkok, offering so many special lunch and dinner menus, it would be a shame not to spread a little love to the city’s struggling F&B scene.

BLUE BY ALAIN DUCASSE

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the one-Michelin-starred Blue by Alain Ducasse invites diners to embark on a romantic gastronomic journey, created especially for the occasion by the restaurant’s executive chef Wilfrid Hocquet and executive pastry chef Maxou Boonthanakit. This lavish, seven-course lunch and dinner set menu begins, appropriately, with an aphrodisiac – succulent Gillardeau n°3 oysters poached in Champagne – and ends with elegant heart-shaped chocolate and coffee entremets from the Manufacture de Chocolat Alain Ducasse Paris. In-between, feast on king crab ‘chaud-froid’ wrapped in black truffle and topped with edible gold leaf, warm gnocchetti with bottarga and citrus, steamed John Dory with lightly-charred broccoletti and gold caviar, and Rossini-style Wagyu beef tenderloin stuffed with foie gras served with heart-shaped fluffy potato crisps and beef-black truffle jus. CÔTE BY MAURO COLAGRECO

There’s lots going on this month at Côte by Mauro Colagreco – Capella Bangkok hotel’s signature fine-dining venue – including the launch of the delicious new Escapade Menu, a superb daily four-course set lunch, intricately curated and sensibly priced at just THB 1,500. SIGNATURE BANGKOK

Celebrate a weekend of love at Karmakamet Conveyance restaurant. On Saturday, February 13th, acclaimed French chef Hervé Frerard, from the Montien Hotel Surawong, will cook alongside Executive Chef Jutamas “Som” Theantae, and together they’ll combine their culinary creative forces to concoct an unforgettable tasting menu of fine French-Asian cuisine.
