Le Petit Chef Makes a Return to Park Hyatt under a New Theme

The world’s smallest chef is back again with a compelling new menu and story.

That’s right, Dinner Time Stories is bringing Le Petit Chef back to Park Hyatt Bangkok for a new culinary adventure under the theme, ‘How to Become the World’s Greatest Chef’. For those who missed its Bangkok debut back in 2019, Le Petit Chef is an immersive dining experience that brings a whole new twist to fine dining through 3D visual projection.

Transforming your tabletop into one giant animated storybook, guests will be able to interact with the tiny chef as they go on a journey of visual and flavours. Guests will find themselves in the Aztec civilisation, diving into swirling colours and shapes and following the little chef as he rides on a bee and plucks at mushroom in a Thumbelina-like manner as the story unfolds across your table cloth and plate.

While one may think that the visuals would distract from the taste, the food itself does not fail to impress. Presented playfully to reflect the storyline, guests will enjoy the likes of pan-seared scallop with colourful miso cream, Canadian lobster tartare, and Australian lamb loin roulade composed to match the holographic dish created by the little chef. For dessert, the giant mushroom from the animation is brought to life and served with a side of condiments for guests to try their hand at constructing a dish themselves.

This year, Le Petit Chef will be hosted at the Park Hyatt’s Apartment room so that guests can enjoy the experience while remaining socially distanced from the others.

The available seating times run between Monday to Thursday from at 12:30 and 19:00 for dinner, while Friday to Sunday seating rounds will take place at 12:00, 15:00, 17:30 and 20:00, respectively.
