So, last weekend I embarked on an hydrofoil and reached in about 40 minutes Ischia, the greatest island of the Neapolitan archipelago, famous for its beaches and the healing waters of its spas.
Be plunged into thermal water surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation while cherishing the blue shades of the sea…it’s priceless and makes your stress really go away!
After a day spent between hot and cold baths, beautiful sandy beaches and pretty villages such as Sant’Angelo and Lacco Ameno, nothing could be more perfect than a sunset stroll at the most iconic of Ischia’s sights: the medieval Aragonese Castle.
When my stomach started grumbling I decided to sit down and taste some local food: the “caponata ischitana”, a simple but very tasty countryside dish, able to keep the palate pleasure.
Once come back home, I tried to cook this traditional recipe, and here the result!
