Kiko Kostadinov and Heaven by Marc Jacobs are up to something.
On January 28, Kiko Kostadinov took to Instagram to seemingly tease a forthcoming collaboration with Marc Jacob’s cult-fave Heaven line.
In the teaser, a lanyard and star-shaped shaker keychain bore Heaven’s unmistakable two-headed bear motif and Kiko Kostadinov’s branding while lying on top of some plaid garments.
While there’s no confirmed release information for Kiko Kostadinov and Heaven’s linkup (yet), expect more details to come next week (at least, that’s what the post’s caption hints).
Plaid? Retro keychains? Kiko Kostadinov x Heaven is undoubtedly screaming 90s grunge. After all, Marc Jacob’s sub-label mirrors the era down to a T — baby tees, that is.
From Dr. Martens collabs to campaigns starring Pamela Anderson, Heaven undoubtedly harkens us back to era through chic nostalgia and weirdly cute mutant bears. Given Gen Z’s loose definition of Y2K, some of Heaven’s pieces could pass the aughts vibe too.
And if we learned anything from Kiko Kostadinov’s Hysteric Glamour collab or ASICS studio, the London-based label knows how to nail an aesthetic, especially the late 90s and early 2000s.
Kiko Kostadinov and Marc Jacobs are already making out to be a match made in, well, heaven. Surely, whatever the two cook up, it’ll be a good one.
