Supreme & Nike (May) Have Another AF1 Collab up Their Sleeve

Highsnobiety aims to provide our readers with the latest updates in the sneaker world. However, we cannot verify the reliability of any unauthorized leaks or rumors unless this information is provided directly by the brands themselves.

A few murmurs say we may see another Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low sneaker collab before the year is out.

Yes, I understand we’re but two months into 2023, and Supreme just began to roll out its Spring/Summer 2023 collection. But whispers hint that the latest Supreme x Nike AF1 will land during the fall season, in tandem with the seasonal apparel and accessories, of course.

The newest collaborative Air Force 1 is rumored to arrive in Baroque Brown, a tonal scheme which is already the butt of the joke amongst a few commenters (pun intended).

It looks like Supreme’s forthcoming AF1 will follow the same formula as the iterations past: the classic Nike silhouette marked by the streetwear giant’s tiny Box Logo on the heel. And that’s about it.

If Supreme heads are lucky again, perhaps the shoes will also come with a set of Sup-branded laces, as seen on the monochrome pack released in 2020 (by the way, they just restocked on February 23).

AMBUSH, Tiffany, Jacquemus, and now Supreme? The Force is indeed still with us in 2023. Last year, the icon saw plenty of drops in honor of its 40th anniversary (Drake’s Love You Forevers, Bille Eillish’s collab, the coveted Louis Vuitton collection, etc.)

Nike just isn’t done celebrating. At the same time, it doesn’t matter how many times they restock the classic schemes or let luxury houses take a spin at the model — the Force 1 is just a perennial icon that will never go out of style.

It’s quite a stretch till the autumn season and, thus, the Supreme FW23 collection. But keep your eyes and ears open. Supreme’s brown Forces could arrive before then. Maybe? Maybe not? Who knows?
