Goldsmiths, as Boris Johnson might say, is levelling-up its showrooms across the UK, and the latest upgrade and expansion is at Lakeside in Kent, where a brand new Rolex branded area will leave shoppers in no doubt that luxury watches are at the heart of the offer.
Rolex sits alongside Tudor, Grand Seiko Longines and Hublot plus Goldsmiths’ own fine jewellery and collections from Fope and Kiki McDonough.
Hospitality and experiences are at the heart of retail these days, and Goldsmiths has introduced a watch bar to the Rolex area where clients can browse the latest collections with the help of experts.
The jewellery area also has its own dedicated service bar.
“The significantly larger showroom, with a Goldsmiths hospitality area and the introduction of a new branded watch and jewellery area provides clients with the finest environment to relax and explore the collections. We have a fantastic team in the showroom who are highly knowledgeable and able to guide clients through their watch and jewellery journey to deliver an exceptional experience,” says Craig Bolton, president UK & Europe, at the Watches of Switzerland Group.
Watches of Switzerland Group now had 192 showrooms across the UK, US and Europe including 77 mono-brand boutiques in partnership with Rolex, Omega, TAG Heuer, Breitling, Tudor, Audemars Piguet, Grand Seiko, Bulgari and Fope as well as seven ecommerce sites across for Watches of Switzerland, Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb and Mayors.
The company states that it is the UK’s largest retailer for Rolex, Omega, Cartier, TAG Heuer and Breitling.
