Frank Shares His 3 All-Time Favourite A. Lange & Sohne Watches (Video Review)

Today, we’re starting a new video series on MONOCHROME. I guess you know that we’ve done a lot of videos recently, both in-depth movies and our video reviews, mostly of brand new models, and you can see them all on our YouTube channel here. But now, it will be more personal! The concept is named “My 3 Favourites”, and it’s pretty simple… The title speaks for itself. One brand, three watches, and the reasons why I believe these are the best of the brand. And to kick off this series, I’ll start with one of my all-time favourite brands. We’ll be talking about A. Lange & Söhne and the Lange 1, the Datograph and the Odysseus

A. Lange & Söhne, the brand as we know it today, isn’t that old. It was founded in 1990, even though the name Lange dates back to 1845. Four years after the relaunch of the brand, four new models have been presented – including the most iconic of them all, the Lange 1. What’s more impressive is to see how much the brand has done in less than 30 years. So many references, so many incredible mechanical creations, and so many unique in-house movements. Choosing what are the 3 best watches currently produced by A. Lange & Söhne seemed to me like a very difficult task at first. However, the three models came rather naturally. The Lange 1, of course, should I say, the Datograph Up/Down and the latest and most daring watch of the brand, the Odysseus.

By the way, if you want to know more about the history of A. Lange & Söhne and its signature watch, the Lange 1, I encourage you to have a look at this in-depth article and video here.

Back to our topic of the day, my three all-time favourite Lange watches. Check out the video and let me know what your favourites of this beautiful brand are!
