More Awake NY x Carhartt WIP? Let's Be 'Avin It

When it works, it works. After a series of fine-tuning over the past few years, Awake NY and Carhartt WIP have found their collaborative rhythm, reconnecting for SS23 to deliver a collection heavy on florals, graphics, and embroidery. Well on.

Whatever the weather, no matter the season, you can count on Carhartt WIP to deliver. Not only delivering but delivering at an incredibly high standard that puts quality above all else.

Knowing that it’s tinkered with its armory to the point of (at least near) perfection, I need only rework its pieces seasonally, with the odd new addition here and there, or trust in its collaborative partners to use its garms as a canvas for something fresh.

It’s a strategy that’s proven extremely successful over the years and one that’s demonstrated the shared qualities of Carhartt WIP and Awake NY.

If WIP’s workwear staples are the bread, then Awake NY’s bold streetwear sensibilities are the butter. Putting the two together always delivers to a peak, demonstrated by their recent three-way team-up with Patta, as well as their coming together in 2020.

Now, in perfecting timing for us to head into the depths of spring, the pair offer up a larger capsule of product that goes heavy on print and embroidery.

As you’d expect, the collection’s palette is an arrangement of staples styles, such as pocket tees and Double Knee Pants, alongside cardigans, beanies, and sweats – what’s new, though, is the bold rear-end graphic prints and blue floral embroidery that offer these classic silhouettes a sprinkle of flair.

Due to touch down online on April 6, the collection is available in a concise selection of blue, green, black, white, and Carhartt WIP iconic “Hamilton Brown.”
